Download the latest version of VisionGauge® OnLine, with the newest features and enhancements.

The most recent release of VisionGauge® OnLine is:

Version 12.42, dated July 19th, 2017.

Current members of the VisionGauge® OnLine Annual Support and Update Program can download, install & use this update. If you want to automatically be notified when new updates of VisionGauge® OnLine are produced, simply subscribe to the VisionGauge® Users Newsletter.

 

To install this update of VisionGauge® OnLine, follow these simple steps:

  1. Download the file called “vgonlineupdate.exe” (approx. 22 MB), containing the latest update of VisionGauge® OnLine.
  2. Run “vgonlineupdate.exe”.
  3. A standard “installation wizard” will walk you through the rest of the software installation process.
  4. When you are done running the “installation wizard”, the VisionGauge® OnLine update is complete!

Notes:

  • This update does not contain all of the files required to run VisionGauge® OnLine, only the ones that have been updated. This means that you must install this update OVER an existing version of VisionGauge® OnLine.

Download version 7.5.1 of the drivers for VisionGauge®’s & VisionGauge® OnLine’s hardware security key (i.e. “dongle”):

 

VisionGauge® / VisionGauge® OnLine Hardware Security Key Driver Installation Instructions:

  1. Download the file “Sentinel Protection Installer 7.5.1.exe“.
  2. Run “Sentinel Protection Installer 7.5.1.exe”. When prompted, choose the “Complete” installation.
  3. Restart your computer. The installation of the drivers for the hardware security key is now complete.

VisionGauge® Digital Optical Comparator Training Requests


We regularly offer seminars to provide training in the effective use of our products. We organize seminars for both resellers and end-users of our products. These seminars usually take place in our offices, but we can also arrange to offer them at a remote training facility or at a customer location. Annual Support and Update Program

VISIONx is continuously working to improve and enhance VisionGauge® OnLine. Incremental updates are produced on a regular basis (typically once or twice a month) and are posted on our web page in the Downloads section. These updates contain new features and enhancements, as well as any bug fixes required.

Through this approach of continuous development, VisionGauge® OnLine has been enhanced tremendously over the years. Many innovative tools have been developed and added, allowing VisionGauge® OnLine users to perform functions and solve applications that could not be solved previously. Over time, certain tools and operations within VisionGauge® OnLine have evolutionized to become more powerful and easy to use!

All of these improvements may never have materialized had it not been for feedback from members of the VisionGauge® OnLine Annual Support and Update Program. Many of VisionGauge® OnLine’s most popular features began as suggestions made by members. We certainly listen very attentively to all suggestions for improvements from members of this Program!

Most of the problems that we hear about from our VisionGauge® software users are basic and have a simple, straightforward solution, which we have compiled in our list of VisionGauge® Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s). We suggest contacting us or your reseller with questions about our VisionGauge® OnLine software and the VisionGauge® Digital Optical Comparator systems.


Getting Your Question Answered Quickly

When you contact us for support, please be prepared to provide us with all of the information required to help us understand your problem. This will allow us to solve the problem for you as quickly as possible.

When you contact us for support, please be prepared to answer the following basic questions:

    • What are the symptoms of the problem that you are having?
    • What is the exact sequence of events that led to the problem? For example: Which keystrokes did you type? What commands did you give? What parameter values did you enter? What other applications were running on the machine? Which windows were open? etc… Please provide as much detailed information as possible.
    • Can the problem be reproduced “on demand”? If so, how?
    • Which error messages did you get (if any)?
    • Which Edition and which Version of VisionGauge® are you running? You can find this information in the software’s “Help – About” menu.

 

If you have one of our VisionGauge® Digital Optical Comparators, please have your model and serial number ready. These may be located on a sticker on the side of the system.

If you think that your problem might be related to your computer system (for example: installation of hardware components, program installation, device drivers, device or network conflicts, etc…) please be prepared to answer the following basic questions:

    • What operating system are you using?
    • What type of computer are you using (i.e. processor manufacturer, model & speed; amount of installed memory, etc…)?
    • Which error messages are you getting (if any)?

 

Also, if you’re working on a tricky & unusual problem that can only be described correctly using engineering sketches of the physical application that you are trying to solve, it might be more effective to send this information (either by email, fax or surface mail) before contacting us, so that your initial conversation can be efficient. If you already have some results, then send them as well.
